Adolescence marks a time of significant growth, change, and self-discovery. It can also bring emotional challenges that feel difficult to navigate alone. Therapy offers teens a supportive, nonjudgmental space to feel understood, explore what they are experiencing, and develop the tools to manage difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and build confidence in themselves. The goal is not to change who they are, but to help them better understand themselves and feel more equipped to navigate life.

Navigating Adolescence
Adolescence can be an exciting, challenging, and sometimes overwhelming time for both teens and their parents. As young people navigate identity, relationships, increasing independence, emotional changes, and the pressures of growing up, families may find themselves working through unfamiliar challenges. My approach is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where teens can develop a deeper understanding of themselves, strengthen emotional regulation, build confidence, and develop practical skills to navigate the challenges they encounter.
I also recognize that parents are navigating this developmental journey alongside their teens. I work with parents to better understand their adolescent's experiences, strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and find meaningful ways to remain connected while supporting growing independence.
My goal is to help teens and their families move through adolescence with greater understanding, stronger relationships, and practical tools to navigate the years ahead.
